Dear Ones - The title I used for the teaching I offered last week was “Breathing Under Water.” If you were not able to be present or if you have not read or viewed last week’s time, you might want to Click Here and do so. Last week was Part I of a teaching and this week is Part II Jesus did his teaching in a culture where there was pervasive injustice, inequality, and economic disparity. Our culture has its own issues. More than one social commentator I respect has said that ours is an “addicted society.” How do people recover from addictions? If you ask someone who is “in recovery,” they will tell you that it is a miracle that they survived their addiction. It will take a miracle for our culture to survive ours as well.
